Summer’s just around the corner, and in between all the cookouts and Little League games, we’ll be checking off a few items on our own summer calendar. We’ve already got several shows lined up for June, including one at Chicago’s own Ribfest (yes, we do get free ribs) and one at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. (John will be storming the executives’ offices to demand that Steely Dan be inducted.)

We’re also working on some new songs, with such mysterious working titles as “Uphill Both Ways” and “Let Sleeping Elephants Lie.” (Hey, the Beatles’ “Yesterday” was originally entitled “Scrambled Eggs,” and it seems like they did pretty well with that one, huh?) If you still haven’t heard the last batch, on the full-length We Were Set Up, never fear — we just pressed 1,000 more copies!

Also on the not-too-distant horizon, we’ve got a video in the works and we’re finally arranging an honest-to-goodness tour. Stay tuned for more updates, and keep the lid on that potato salad. :)
